Just a reminder that next week, May 5-May 9th is Teacher Appreciation Week!

I'm planning to give very inexpensive gifts....such as shasta daisy "divisions" from my perennial flower stock for a teacher  who likes such things.  For the others (about 5!), I'm looking for ideas (very cheap).  I'm thinking of nice pens.  Any ideas out there?

Funny, I just had this topic on my mind today.

For my 3rd grader's teachers (she has two) I have already purchased a couple of very inexpensive but very beautiful notepad set.  She set comes in three different sizes and have very pretty borders.  Where I live, I have store called Amazing Savings, and I only go there to purchase gifts.  The notepad sets only cost me $2.99 for each!

For my dd5's Pre-K teacher, I plan to send home a discreet note to all the parents.  My plan is to have a week's worth of prepackaged meals to present to her at the beginning of the week.  The teacher is young and single and really doesn't cook for herself so I think this will be just perfect.  I read about this idea a long time ago and finally plan to implement it.

HTH!
